OptiSelf LLC operates OptyPeptides. Clinics that use OptyPeptides can choose to take part in our research data program. This page explains what that means for your data and how to opt out.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Our research data program uses de-identified data. If your clinic takes part in our research data program, OptiSelf may remove identifiers from data in your account, following the HIPAA de-identification standard (45 C.F.R. §164.514), and license the de-identified data to research organizations and similar buyers. Some state laws treat this as a sale, so you can opt out below. The data comes from four categories:
- Profile: age, sex, height, weight, goals and health conditions
- Treatment: peptides, protocols, doses, dates and routes
- Check-ins: wellbeing scores and symptoms
- Lab results: biomarker values, not the lab documents
Data leaves OptiSelf in one of two forms:
- De-identified: identifiers removed using either the HIPAA Safe Harbor method or an expert determination. Buyers agree not to re-identify anyone or contact individuals.
- Identifiable: only with your separate, signed research study authorization. We never sell identifiable data without it.
We never sell your Apple Health or Health Connect data, messages, clinical notes, uploaded documents, or sign-in details.
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your information at any time, for free. Opting out never affects your access to the app or your care.
Opt out for your account and app data
Enter the email address on your account. We will email you a link to confirm. Once you confirm, we apply your choice to that email address and leave your data out of every future delivery. It doesn’t recall de-identified data already delivered, because that data can’t be linked back to you.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as an opt-out on this site. If your browser does not send it, you can opt out here. This turns off site analytics in this browser.
Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
Sensitive personal information we handle includes health and biometric data and your account sign-in details. We use it to run the service you signed up for, to show you and your clinic your own records, to keep the service safe, and, where your clinic takes part, to prepare the data described above.
You can ask us to limit our use of your sensitive personal information to what is needed to provide the service to you.

You can ask us to tell you what we have collected and sold, to correct it, or to delete it. Use the privacy request page. You can also ask which buyers received your identifiable data in the past 12 months by emailing hello@optypeptides.com.
