OptyPeptides Partners With Austin's Wellness Lab
Wellness Lab, an Austin-based telehealth practice for metabolic, hormone and peptide care, now gives its patients OptyPeptides for tracking between visits.
We're excited to announce a partnership with Wellness Lab, an Austin-based virtual practice for metabolic health, hormone optimization and peptide therapy. Wellness Lab patients now use OptyPeptides to keep their routines, check-ins and reminders in one place between visits, so every review with their clinician starts from a clear picture.
“The best care doesn’t happen in a single appointment—it happens in the day-to-day. OptyPeptides gives our patients a simple way to track their progress between visits and gives me a clearer picture of how they’re actually responding, so we can make more informed, individualized decisions together.”
— Danielle Johnson, FNP-C, Founder of Wellness Lab
About Wellness Lab
Wellness Lab is a telehealth practice led by Danielle Johnson, FNP-C. Its care is clinician-guided and built around data: metabolic and hormone assessments, peptide therapy guidance, and quarterly lab reviews through Wellness Lab's Metabolic Health Index™ (MHI™), a framework for organizing lab markers, body-composition context and trends over time.
Why the time between visits matters
Quarterly reviews show where a patient stands. What happens in the weeks between them shapes the result: whether a routine was followed, how the patient felt, and what changed along the way. Without a simple place to record that, patients arrive at a review trying to remember weeks of detail, and clinicians spend the visit piecing it together.
OptyPeptides fills that gap. Patients log as they go, and the record is waiting when the visit begins.
What Wellness Lab patients get
- Reminders for the routines their clinician sets, so nothing slips between visits.
- Quick logging of doses and routines, in a few seconds each.
- Wellbeing check-ins that capture how they feel over time, not just on the day of a visit.
- Connected wearables: sleep, recovery, resting heart rate, HRV and activity from devices and apps such as Apple Health, Whoop and Oura sit alongside their logs.
- Trends that turn weeks of logs and wearable data into a picture they can see for themselves.
- Better-prepared visits, because their care team can see the same trends before the review.
What the care team sees
Wellness Lab's clinicians see their patients' logs, wearable data and trends in the OptyPeptides clinic portal. Before a quarterly MHI review, they can look at adherence and wellbeing over the whole period, next to the lab and body-composition results they already track. The visit can then go straight to what the trends mean and what comes next.
Patient information is protected the way health data should be: encrypted in transit and at rest, and handled under a Business Associate Agreement with Wellness Lab.

Already using OptyPeptides with your own account?
You don't need to start over. If you signed up in the app with a different email than the one Wellness Lab has on file, your care team can link your account to your Wellness Lab record. They'll email a link to the address you signed up with: tap Review and link, confirm, and your doses, check-ins and wearable data move into your Wellness Lab account, alongside your records there. The next time you open the app, sign in once with your usual email and password. With the next app update, Wellness Lab can also give you a link code to enter in the app instead.
For non-urgent questions, including a new symptom, message your Wellness Lab care team in the app. Don't wait on an app message for anything urgent: contact Wellness Lab directly, and call 911 in an emergency.
